Der Fachbereich Mensch-Computer-Interaktion fördert und bündelt innerhalb der Gesellschaft für Informatik die Arbeiten zum Thema Mensch-Computer-Interaktion, koordiniert die Aktivitäten der ihn tragenden Fachgruppen, vertritt sie nach außen und pflegt Kooperationen mit angrenzenden Fachgesellschaften.
